Covid-19 Pandemic Response
In order to comply with the Governor’s social distancing order, Sugarbush will be implementing the following:
- Due to space constraints in our foyer and lobby; we can only allow 1 customer inside at a time.
- We will accomplish this by moving to “By Appointment Only” scheduling
- We are maintaining our regular hours, but you will need an appointment time to come in
- For reservations currently on the books, we will call you closer to your trip date
- Valet Service (we come to you)
- We will mark 6’ intervals on the sideway in front of the kennel
- 1 customer equals one person, not one family
- Please leave children outside
- Have family member say goodbye outside
- Doors will be marked “In” and “Out” to avoid people passing people in proximity to others
- The entrance on the left (Steps) will be “In”
- The entrance on the right (Ramp) will be “Out”
- We will be installing a plexiglass shield at the counter
- We encourage all customers to wear masks while in our facility
- We will limit contact between customers and our staff to just our front desk person
- We realize this might result in slower check ins and outs
- We will limit dogs’ personal belongings brought from home.
- No Beds or blankets
- We have a wide variety of soft bedding
- We have Kuranda Beds
- We have quilts and comforters
- We gladly accept donations of old bath towels, blankets, quilts and dog beds
- No soft plush toys
- Hard bones okay
- Biscuits and other treats okay
- We carry median Milk Bones for pets without treats
- Please consider switching to our dog food
- This is not mandatory
- There is no charge for using our dog food
- We carry Purina Pro Plan Adult Lamb and Rice Shredded Blend (Pink and Black bag)
- Please contact us on how to properly switch your pet’s food
- Once grooming is allowed by the Governor
- We will no longer offer “walk-in” nail trims
- You will need a reservation and an appointment time
- Remember we are limiting customers in the lobby
- This applies to groom customers too
- This may impact the number of dogs we can groom in a day
- We have suspended facility tours
- No customer or potential customer will be allowed beyond our lobby area
- We will be creating a virtual tour of the facility
- We hope to include in on our website
- We will post it to our Facebook page
- This goes against our “transparency of our operations” philosophy and I sincerely hope this change will be short lived
